Residence Orders Contact Orders Parental Responsibility Order

A residence order is to settle the arrangements as to the person with whom a child is to live.

A contact order specifies how often a parent (who does not live with their child) should see the child and the terms of contact.

A parental responsibility order allows unmarried fathers to apply for responsibility when the mother refuses to allow him to be registered or re-registered on the birth certificate, or refuses to sign a Parental Responsibility Agreement with him.
