Our judicial review team have a wide range of experience in challenging the legality of decisions of various public authorities and bodies. We have the knowledge and experience to give you the best possible outcome.
We regularly challenge decisions of public authorities in judicial review applications in the High Court. Applications for judicial review may be brought by any individual – including children and persons with a disability acting through a parent or next friend – against any public authority which has acted in an unreasonable or unlawful manner on condition that the applicant has exhausted their alternative remedies.
We regularly represent clients in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court challenging decisions of public bodies such as the PSNI, Northern Ireland Prison Service, Public Prosecution Service, Coroners Service of Northern Ireland, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland and NIO, Health Trusts, Housing Executive and Housing Associations.
