The black taxi in which he was a passenger was stopped moments earlier by an army patrol on the Whiterock Road and his details were taken. The soldier who murdered Leo and other members of his patrol that night were later convicted and jailed for planting ammunition on an unarmed civilian. Tomorrow the President of the Coroners Court, Mrs Justice Keegan will assess when a newly ordered inquest into Leo’s death will be listed for hearing. Leo’s family will be in attendance.
