Geraldine Finucane will lead a family delegation to meet with Irish Foreign Affairs Minister Dermot Ahern at Leinster House today. The Finucane family intend to raise the Inquiries Act with the minister and outline the family’s position and deep concerns about any proposed inquiry under the 2005 Inquiries Act into the murder of Pat Finucane.
Geraldine Finucane will be accompanied by Peter Madden, the family’s solicitor and Jane Winter, Director of the London based human rights organisation British Irish Rights Watch.
The meeting will take place @ 2.30 @ Leinster House, Dublin
